Snake River celebrates Bob Coombs’ 500th win, takes down Sugar-Salem 42-27

BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KIFI) - Before Thursday's Sugar-Salem-Snake River boys basketball game, the Panthers honored longtime head coach Bob Coombs for winning his 500th game last Friday against Teton.

Coombs is the first coach in 3A history and the second overall according to IDHSAA records to reach 500 career wins.

The Panthers took down Sugar-Salem 42-27 for Coombs' 502nd win.

Next up, Snake River hosts Marsh Valley Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. while Sugar-Salem takes on South Fremont Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
