Hillcrest defeats Thunder Ridge 68-50 as both schools show their support for Mason Grimmett

AMMON, Idaho (KIFI) - Emotions were high at Hillcrest Friday night in a Knights 68-50 victory over Thunder Ridge, Hillcrest's 14th straight win. But this night was not just about basketball.

Both student sections wore gold to support Thunder Ridge sophomore Mason Grimmett in his fight against cancer. Thunder Ridge players also had "Mason" written on their right arms in gold.

Thunder Ridge will be hosting its annual Pink Night to support Mason, Seth Sautter, and many other people fighting this terrible disease. You can donate to their cause and more at this link.
