Pocatello pulls away against Preston for district win

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - The Pocatello Thunder extend their current winning streak to nine games with a big district victory over Preston 67-53.

Sophomore guard Julian Bowie led the Thunder with 22 points, including a spectacular sequence in the third quarter with a massive dunk and block on back-to-back plays. Ryan Payne and Matt Christensen were also in double digits with 14 and 12 points respectively.

The Thunder (15-2) are back on the road on Wednesday looking for revenge against district rival Century.

The Indians (12-6) will play their third straight road game in Pocatello in a matchup with Highland.
