Highs in the 40’s for Saturday, scattered snow for Sunday and Monday

Mostly sunny skies for Saturday with highs into the 40's for the Snake River Plain. Winds at 10-25 MPH increasing clouds into Sunday. For our Sunday, look for scattered snow showers, mostly into the mountains. High temperatures will reach into the mid 30's with gusty winds at 15-25 MPH. More widespread snow showers will pass trough the region for Monday, with light accumulation amounts for the lower elevations. Colder air will slide in behind this storm, with dropping temperatures through next week.

Saturday through Thursday:

Saturday into Saturday night…Strong and gusty southwest and west winds likely in the Cody Foothills, Absarokas, and from Muddy Gap to Casper.

Sunday Night through Tuesday…Moderate snow across the region with breezy winds and blowing snow. The most significant snow should occur Sunday night through Monday night, but placement and amounts remain quite uncertain at this time.

Monday through Wednesday…Bitter cold temperatures with wind chills in the negative 20s through negative 30s.
