Jack Russell’s Great White to perform at EISF
Rock legends Jack Russell’s Great White will be opening for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts at the Eastern Idaho State Fair Friday, September 8 .
The Great White was formed in Los Angeles in 1977 and gained popularity during the 1980s and early 1990s.
The band released several albums and gained airplay on MTV with music videos for songs like “Rock Me” “Share Your Love” “Lady Red Light” and “Once Bitten, Twice Shy”. The band hit their top seller with the album Twice Shy in 1989. After disbanding in 2001, Jack Russell and Mark Kendall reunited under the name of Jack Russell’s Great White and continue to tour all over the world.
This year Jack Russell’s Great White is celebrating the 30th anniversary of 1987’s album Once Bitten by touring and putting out new material.
