New photo of bank robbery suspect released
UPDATE: Hillcrest High School and Sandcreek Middle School went into lockdown Tuesday afternoon around 3:40 p.m.
Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office Deputy and Hillcrest Resource Officer Evan Martin got word of a possible robbery at the Sandcreek Commons branch of Zions Bank and was told the suspect was running toward Hillcrest possibly with a bomb.
Officials report the suspect is dressed in a skull mask with long gray hair, a black hoodie and a backpack.Martin decided to lock down the school for safety reasons which lasted for 20 minutes until they were cleared by the sheriff’s office.
That lockdown has since been lifted and students are in the process of being released.
Bonneville County Dispatch has put out a Code Red Alert to nearby areas altering residents to this incident.
Deputies are in the process of gathering suspect information at this time.

Hillcrest High School has been released after the school went into a soft lockdown Tuesday afternoon around 3:40 p.m.
Officials said there was no problem at the school, but law enforcement locked the school down because of a bank robbery at Zions Bank at 2540 E Sunnyside Road.
Officials said students are safe and have been released.
