DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) — Cameron Young remembers meeting Jack Nicklaus for the first time at the U.S. Open three years ago at Pebble Beach. It was brief. And memorable only for Young. He’s starting to make a name for himself. The rookie had a 67 at the Memorial and was part of a six-way tie for the lead. Luke List, Cameron Smith, K.H. Lee, Davis Riley and Mackenzie Hughes also were a 67. It was the highest score to lead after one round at the Memorial since 2004. Defending champion Patrick Cantlay and Jon Rahm were at 72.
