WNBA teams set for sprint to end of regular season, playoffs

WNBA enters final month of the season with 11 of 12 teams in contention for playoff spots and five franchises within three games of each other atop the standings. Under the new playoff format this season there are no byes to the semifinals for the top two seeds but the hotly contested playoff race keeps the pressure teams atop the standings. Surging Chicago still leads the way in the AP WNBA power poll.
