Idaho Falls Bandits advance to semifinals in American Legion World Series

Shelby, NC (KIFI) - The Idaho Falls Bandits defeated Midland, Michigan 6-1 on Sunday to advance to the semifinals in the American Legion World Series. 

Dax Whitney got the win for Idaho Falls, allowing one run and three hits with seven strikeouts in six innings.

The Bandits' bats were led by Conner Hall, who went 1-for-2 with two RBIs, and R.J. Woods and Ryan Horvath, who went 2-for-3 and 2-for-2 respectively.

Next up for the Bandits is a matchup with Shrewsbury, Massachusetts on Monday at 5 p.m. The winner goes on to the championship game.
