Pocatello woman flown to hospital after crash with a cow

A Pocatello woman was flown to a hospital after a crash involving a cow in Lava Hot Springs.

According to Idaho State Police, Joseph Fitzimon and Hayley Steed, of Pocatello, were driving westbound on US30 near Lava Hot Springs when their car struck a cow Friday night.

Steed was transported by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center.

Both were wearing seatbelts.

The westbound lanes were blocked for an hour and a half.
