Steamboat Geyser erupts 20th time in 2018
The Steamboat Geyser in Yellowstone National Park erupted for the 20th time in 2018 Monday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the geyser erupted at 5:18 a.m. and went off for about an hour.
Richard LeBlanc captured this video of the last eruption on September 17. It has been 6 days, 19 hours and 42 minutes since that eruption. 
Yellowstone National Park reports this is the most active year for Steamboat since 1982 when it off 23 times. It also went off 26 times in 1963, 29 times in 1964 and 22 times in 1965.
USGS said the geyser has decided to follow a semi-regular pattern of erupting about every 5 days over the past few weeks.
