Man arrested during early morning traffic stop
Idaho Falls Police arrested Kerry Noble, 49, of Idaho Falls, for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm and an outstanding warrant.
A patrolman saw a vehicle speeding near 3rd Street and Higbee at around 3 a.m. Monday. The officer stopped the car and discovered the driver had a warrant for his arrest.
Police tried to contact the owner of the car to pick it up but were not successful. Officers found several items of drug paraphernalia, suspected methamphetamine, and a firearm in the vehicle.
