Skyline scores an eight-point win over Highland for its first victory of the season

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Skyline Grizzlies are on the board in 2022 with their first win, as the Grizz took down the Highland Rams 29-21 in a heavyweight non-conference matchup.

Skyline drew first blood on a Lachlan Haacke 19-yard rushing touchdown, but that was the only score in the first half, and the Grizz led 7-0 at the break.

It was an explosion of offense in the third quarter for Skyline, though, including a kick return TD that put the Grizz up 29-7. Skyline ultimately held on for the eight-point win.

Next up, Skyline heads to Thunder Ridge in the first "Berger Bowl," while Highland travels to Century. Both games kick off Friday at 7:00 p.m.
