AAA opening in IF and safety holiday travel tips

AAA is celebrating the new Idaho Falls service center opening. They use to have an operation in Idaho Falls a few years back but decided to move their main office to Pocatello. Idaho Falls is constantly growing and new families are moving into town, and AAA wants to make themselves more available to the thriving community. Matthew Conde is the Public Affairs Director for Tripple A who says, “This is a beautiful area. There’s a lot of new growth here. We’re happy to come back to this area and just very excited to be here.”

“The building its self is still undergoing renovation but doors are open to anyone looking to speak with a representative for assistance. They are waiting to host their grand opening during the early spring.”
We’re looking at a hundred twelve million people hitting the roads. This is the biggest number on record for holiday travelers. Whether you’re flying or driving there’s gonna be a lot of people sharing the roads and there are ways to ensure your safety.
Conde says, “You can never underestimate the importance of having an emergency road kit. Have flairs, reflectors, first aid kit, food, water, plenty of blankets and things like that. Just in case you are waiting for a period of time. We want people to focus on safety especially.” For family members who are traveling to the gem state and aren’t used to driving in our weather conditions, here are a few things they should know. Pay attention to steering over anything else. If you lose traction keep steering in the direction you wanna go don’t fight against your braking system. Make sure your headlights are clean. If you have any further questions about road safety tips you can meet with AAA at their new service center located on 3418 S. 25th East, Idaho Falls.
