Central Fire District receives over $19,000 in grant money

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation awarded a grant for $19,175 to the Central Fire District.

The grant money will be used to purchase 65 helmets and accessories. With the new gear, the Central Fire District will continue to provide the community with safety.

The foundation’s mission is to provide funding, lifesaving equipment, and educational opportunities to first responders and public safety organizations.

Helping first responders is something that the founders of Firehouse Subs strive to do.

“The founders were firefighters, and so they knew that they could do so much more than just sell subs and it has become really the heart of firehouse subs. It’s a great thing that we do,” said Firehouse Subs area representative for Utah and Idaho, Randy Judd.

Donations to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation can be made at Firehouse Subs locations and online.
