IDAHO FALLS (KIFI/KIDK) Update: Power has been restored for thousands of people in the upper Snake River Plain. No word yet on what caused the outage that started late Thursday night and lasted for a few hours.

Rocky Mountain Power reports an outage in the upper Snake River Plain. At least 30,000 customers are without power. No word yet on an exact cause.

Rocky Mountain Power has a possible power restoration time of 4 A.M. Friday morning. The power outage was first reported just after 10:45 P.M. Thursday night.
