The Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has directed its members in Idaho to oppose the Idaho Reproductive Freedom and Privacy Act this November. If passed, the initiative will repeal the state’s current abortion ban and replace its existing definition of fetal viability. Church leaders shared their official opposition through letters read during recent worship services.
