Lemonade stand helping kids with cancer

BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KIFI) - A lot of customers have stopped at the vendors at the Eastern Idaho State Fair this week, but for one Pocatello food truck, business has been smashing.

Sean Williams and his wife, Ashley, have been serving up freshly-squeezed, flavored lemonades for more than a decade with their company the Lemon Smashers.

One of the things they always try to do is give back.

For the rest of the season, they will donate 10 cents for each lemonade they sell  to help kids with cancer.

"This year we came across Alex's lemonade.org charity. It's a really cool charity. There was a young child, Alex had some cancer. It was a neuroblastoma," Sean said. "And she set up a lemonade stand in her yard to get some donations for child cancer research and ended up pulling in about two grand out of the neighborhood. So it was pretty awesome."

And Lemon Smashers have more big news.

They are starting to franchise their business nationwide.
