Pioneer Art Show Kicks Off In St. Anthony

Pioneer Day weekend is almost here, and the city of St. Anthony is gearing up for it.

The Idaho Art Lab on Bridge Street is showcasing work from local artists and historic photos, in what it calls “The Pioneer Art Show” all this week.

The show opened on Thursday and will be open to the public until Aug. 9.

Admission is free to anyone who comes by to check it out.

Art Lab volunteer Kara Hidalgo said it’s a great way to remember how far Idaho has come.

“I feel like the new generation, if they had a little bit better connection with the past, they might feel a little bit better about their town. We have great architecture and history here,” said Hidalgo.
