Police: Man Hit In Head With Bat Over Xbox Money

Idaho Falls police said a man struck another man in the face with a baseball bat on Monday night.

Dallas Scott Aeschbacher, 21, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and aggravated battery after police responded to the 500 block of North Fanning around 6:20 p.m. Monday in reference to a fight in progress.

The fight started over money owed on an Xbox game console.

During the fight, police said, Aeschbacher struck a 36-year-old man with the bat and brandished a hatchet.

A witness posted on Local News 8?s Facebook page that ?you could hear the echo? of the bat hitting the victim?s head.

The condition the 36-year-old man is unknown at this time.

Aeschbacher was booked into the Bonnevile County Jail.
