Pocatello Police Arrest 2, Say Woman Held At Gunpoint

Two people are behind bars after police say a woman was held at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to a house on 14th Street in Pocatello after a call from the victim’s boyfriend.

Police found a woman with a cut on her forehead and said the male caller was also attacked.

Police arrested Eugene Martinez on charges of aggravated assault and battery and Joyce Wahtomy on a charge of aggravated assault.

The motive for the alleged incident was not disclosed.
