Family Members Injured In Fort Hall Crash

A two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 91 at Ellsworth Road in Fort Hall forced police to block off traffic on Saturday at 6 p.m.

84-year-old Leo Butterfield of Pocatello was driving northbound on U.S. 91 at Ellsworth Road. 34-year-old Joaquin Flores of Blackfoot was traveling southbound on U.S. 91, approaching Ellsworth Road. One child in the Flores’ vehicle was in a child seat, the other occupants were unrestrained.

U.S. 91 was blocked and traffic was diverted around the crash scene.

Idaho State Police were assisted at the scene by Fort Hall police, Fort Hall emergency management services, Bannock County sheriff officers and Bannock County search and rescue.
