Anti-Abortion Protests Wrap Up In Jackson

A second round of anti-abortion protests has wrapped up in Jackson following demonstrations outside the town’s churches.

Police monitored members of Milwaukee-based Operation Save America outside the churches and other locations in town on Sunday. The five-day action ended at noon.

Members of the group also demonstrated in town square during their visit but on Saturday morning they didn’t display any graphic images or use amplified sound there. The annual Boy Scout Elk Antler Auction was also being held there that day.

Last year, two anti-abortion protesters were arrested for demonstrating in the square near the auction for violating a court order to keep away from the square during the auction.

The Wyoming Supreme Court later ruled that order violated the protesters’ constitutional rights
