Mountain lion shot in Boise

Officials with Boise State University say a mountain lion that has been seen in southeast Boise over the past couple of days has been shot and killed.
The cougar spotted on the Green Belt north of Bronco Stadium and was shot by police around midnight Monday after it was seen feeding from a garbage bin about 200 yards from the stadium.
Idaho Department of Fish and Game officials believe the 70-pound juvenile male is the same cat that was seen picking at a deer carcass in the front yard of an east Boise home Friday night.
