Man dies in sand dunes crash

A Montana man has died of injuries suffered in a weekend motorcycle accident at the St. Anthony Sand Dunes.

The Fremont County sheriff’s office says 37-year-old Robert Ostrander of Three Forks, Mont., was injured at 11 p.m. Friday when he crashed while doing jumps with his motorcycle in the area of Idaho Dunes Campground.

The Standard Journal reports Ostrander died during surgery at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
