Body of Blackfoot man found in river
Searchers found the body of a Blackfoot man in the Snake River on Thursday.
Emergency personnel from Bingham and Bonneville counties had been searching near Wadsworth Island. The body of Vaughn Kepler, 59, was found as crews in a boat were returning to dock downstream from the search area.
The search was called off just as a group of neighbors and family members was about to perform a walk-through search.
Kepler was last seen by his wife Wednesday night. It is believed he was going fishing.
