Blackfoot wins wastewater grant
The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has approved a $67 thousand for the city of Blackfoot. The city will match the grant with another $67 thousand in local funding.
The funds will be used by the city to prepare a wastewater system facility planning study and environmental documents. It will evaluate the current wastewater treatment system and identify improvements to address compliance issues and regulatory permit requirements.
