Facebook argument leads to arrest

A fight over a Facebook posting led to the arrest of an Idaho Falls man at around 9 p.m. Thursday for attempted strangulation and as a felon-in-possession of a firearm.

Idaho Falls Police said 42-year-old Gregory Bosen became physical with a 24-year-old victim during an argument in the 800 block of South Saturn. They said Bosen grabbed the woman’s throat and shoved her against the wall.

Police also determined that Bosen, a convicted felon, was illegally in possession of two firearms.

He was booked into the Bonneville County jail.
