6 hurt in Clark County crash

Six people went to the hospital after a two-car accident in Clark County on Friday.

AT 11:45 a.m. Ming Guangzhou, 30, China, was west on State Highway 22 in a 2012 BMW. Karen White, 22, of Salt Lake City, was north on State Highway 28, in a 2006 Honda Civic.

Idaho State Police said Guangzhou failed to stop at a stop sign, entered the intersection and hit the Honda on the passenger side. The BMW went off the road and rolled several times before coming to rest on the side of the road north of Highway 22. The Honda, which did not roll, spun and went off the road onto the shoulder.

Guangzhou and the four passengers of the BMW were transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, four by ground ambulance and one by air ambulance. White was transported to EIRMC by private vehicle. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
ISPwas helped by Mud Lake ambulance, Clark County ambulance, Air Idaho, Portneuf Air, and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. The crash is under investigation by ISP.
