WYDOT to move driver’s services to Thayne
The Wyoming Department of Transportation is moving its Driver’s Services location from Afton to the new Thayne Community Center.
The Afton center will close December 12th and reopen at the new location one block east of US Highway 89 on VanNoy Parkway December 20th. WYDOT said the new location would provide a more centralized office with motorcycle testing and better parking. The site also offers upgraded handicapped accessibility.
In addition, the Transportation Department said the new office will be less costly to operate and provide better opportunities for advanced telecom and Internet options.
