ISU students make little girl’s dream come true

Monday night was a dream come true for a Pocatello girl.

Students in ISU’s College of Business raised funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help Skyelar, a 3-year-old girl who has a rare lymph node cancer. The funds are going toward her trip in January to meet the Disney princesses at Disneyworld in Orlando. A real princess party was held for her in the business building, with the ISU cheerleaders making a special cheer. The ISU football team also presented her with a signed football.

“We just want to thank everybody for supporting her,” said Britney Edmonds, her mom. “We want to thank the class. Dr. Bolinger and his students are amazing. And the Make-A-Wish people, Dee and Casey and Julie. We just want to thank everyone.”
