Bear Lake County family homeless after fire

A family is homeless after their Bear Lake County house burned down Wednesday around 4 p.m.

The house is in Bennington, which lies between Montpelier and Georgetown.

The Darren and Emily Keetch family of five got out safely, along with their dog, but the occupants are living with extended family. The home is still standing but is completely unlivable, authorities said.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
