Couple wins new motorcycle in Harley-Davidson giveaway

An Idaho Falls man got an early Christmas gift Friday morning.

Chad’s Rental in Idaho Falls has given away a free Harley-Davidson motorcycle each year for the last decade.

This year, Paul Potter was the big winner after his name was picked out of a drawing of customers at Chad’s Rental.

For Potter and his wife, Vicki, getting something like this right before the holiday is almost unbelieveable.

“I had been counting down all month long telling him every day, so many days until I win that bike and he kept telling me I wasn’t,” said Vicki Potter. “But here we are today, proud owners of this new bike.”

“Everybody likes a chance to win something,” said Marty Hoge, store owner. “Whether it’s a $5 bill from the Lottery or a $12,000 bike, it’s a big deal.”

Chad’s Rental isn’t stopping its free Harley tradition anytime soon.

Employees said they love giving away the bikes around Christmas and are looking forward to drawing next year’s winner.
