Victim of Christmas night fire identified
Bingham County authorities are investigating a fire that claimed the life of a Blackfoot man Christmas night. The Bingham County Sheriff’s office has identified the victim as 67-year-old Larry Permann.
Blackfoot firefighters were called to 380 N. 1200 West, about 11 miles northwest of Blackfoot, at 7:23 p.m. Tuesday.
Fire Department Capt. Dave Krumenacker said a single=wide trailer was in flames and the roof of the structure fell in about the same time as firefighters arrived on the scene.
Permann was found dead inside.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation Thursday by the Blackfoot Fire Department’s fire marshal.
