California man arrested after I-86 traffic stop
A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a California man near American Falls at 9:55 a.m. Monday.
Idaho State Police stopped a 1999 Chevrolet pickup driven by 40-year-old Christopher A. Reynolds of Cotati, California on Interstate 86 near milepost 28.
An investigation led to the discovery of 1.45 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle. Reynolds was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Idaho State Police said the seized marijuana had a street value of about $4 thousand.
Investigation is continuing.
