KIFI Account Executive

KIFI is seeking an Account Executive to call on local businesses and develop new business in the Idaho Falls area. KIFI Account Executives are responsible for generating revenue from the sale of television air time to local advertisers for KIFI, Telemundo, the NOW Channel and Localnews8.com, through cold calls and an active list of customers and prospects.

Responsibilities include knowledge and preparation of station advertising rates, current programming, Nielsen, market competition and the organization of this information into oral and written presentation form for the client sell; the timely completion of paperwork, weekly sales planners and any other reports requested by the Director of Sales. Minimum requirements are 40 hours a week.

Candidate must be a self-starter, possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude, strong written and oral communication skills, organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Prior broadcast sales experience is preferred but prior sales experience is required along with a car in working order, car insurance and a valid driver’s license.
