Three people were arrested Monday on charges of trafficking a controlled substance after a routine traffic stop on eastbound U.S. 20 near Rexburg.

The Idaho State Police said Thursday that they arrested 55-year-old Wes E. Williams of Ririe, 40-year-old Brandy Rachell Felts of Wallace, Calif., and 33-year-old Robert A. Johnson of Watford, N.D. All were being held in the Madison County jail in Rexburg.

Police said that with the help of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and Rexburg Police Department K-9 unit, an ISP trooper discovered about 660 grams of methamphetamine in the 1996 Ford truck. Officers also recovered about $4,000 in cash.
