Missing man found

A man missing in Pocatello has been found.

Ronald Johnson, 79, had walked away from 906 Everett Street and was last seen crossing west over the Gould Street overpass toward downtown Pocatello, police said .

Police said he is the father of Judith Johnson, who was killed by Michael Sparks in 2011. Ronald Johnson disappeared around 9 a.m. Tuesday, the same morning Sparks was sentenced to 20 years in prison. However, police did not say that the trial and Ronald Johnson’s disappearance are connected.

Johnson, an Alzheimer’s patient, ” has been located and he is fine,” police said after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
