Reward posted for Pocatello assault information
An unidentified group has put up a $4,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for a Pocatello assault.
The incident happened Feb. 10 when a man jumped out of a passing car and attacked two men walking home from a bar on North Ninth Avenue. One of the victims was sent to an emergency room for treatment.
The men told Pocatello police the only motivation they could think of for the attack was that they were holding hands.
Police described the suspect as a white male with a stocky build.A passenger in his car was described as a white female with long, straight, dark hair.
The car was described as a light colored, two-door sports car with a loud exhaust.
