Local phone scam targets eastern Idaho customers
A phone scam targeting AT&T customers has hit eastern Idaho. Many local AT&T customers reported receiving a phone call telling them they’re eligible for a discount for their service.
The website is www.att625.com and AT&T representatives have said it’s a scam.
AT&T representatives said they’ll never ask for confidential information over the Internet like a social security number.
If you’ve received one of these phone calls, be sure to contact your local AT&T store to let them know.
