Child struck by car near Pocatello school

Pocatello Police say a child was struck by a car near Greenacre School at apprxoimately 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said the 10 year old boy was in the crosswalk at Elm and Hyde when he was hit by the car, struck between the driver’s side tire and side view mirror.

The boy was transported and treated for a fractured leg.

Investigation of the accident is continuing.
