March Madness helps boom Idaho Falls business
Sports enthusiasts are four days into March Madness and plenty of fans are looking for places around town to watch the games.
With the high foot traffic, some businesses say their profits are booming.
Buffalo Wild Wings in Idaho Falls has been a hot spot for NCAA Tournament fans.
Manager, Aaron Briscoe, says tables and the bar area have been packed the last couple of nights, full of locals looking to catch the games.
He says there are 62 TV’s and 8 big screen projections in the restaurant — which allows patrons to watch multiple games at once.
“We’re actually able to show every single March Madness game going on,” said Briscoe. “At the same time, we still show hockey and the women’s games too so we’ve got a lot of things going on here.”
Briscoe says the restaurant starts to get packed around 6 p.m. so if you’re hoping for a seat, make sure to go a little early.
