Police: Man steals gun from pawn shop
Pocatello police are looking for a man who stole a firearm from a Pocatello pawn shop.
The crime occurred Saturday.
He is between 5’7″ and 5’9″ and weighs between 160 and 180 pounds.
The suspect is wearing a red and blue coat, a black T-shirt with a black baseball cap and blue jeans. He drove a tan or brown 2000 to 2003 Dodge Durango. Police don’t know license plate number, but said he possibly had Idaho plates.
Police said Wednesday that people need to be cautious, as most times shoplifters use distraction techniques in order to steal.
” We just try to put the word out to be observant and be vigilant about what’s going on in your store to help try and prevent these things,” said Lt. Paul Manning of the Pocatello Police Department.
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
Police did not give further information on the case.
