NPG of Idaho is looking for a news reporter who can tell great stories.

NPG of Idaho is eastern Idaho’s number one news team by providing news for KIFI Local News 8 (ABC) and KIDK Eyewitness News (CBS).

This position is for those looking for their first reporting job after graduating college. We are looking for someone who can communicate well, seek out the newsmakers and tell great stories.

This is a multi-media journalist who can shoot, write, edit and present their stories on-air and online.

You will work with some of the highest trained journalists in the region who have been in the market for more than two decades.

You will use some of the highest digital technology in the market, including Sony’s XDCam EXR cameras, Harris Velocity editors and ENPS, along with three live trucks.

Candidates should have a four-year degree in a related field of broadcast news. This position would also include working weekends and some evenings.
