Armored vehicle to help law enforcement
The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office unveiled a new addition to its fleet Tuesday.
Deputies said this will be a great asset to the force.
The vehicle is armored and can be used in different tactical situations. It is equipped with cameras and even has its own on-board air system. In bomb squad situations, authorities can control a robot from inside the vehicle.
The sheriff’s office said the armored vehicle cost about $336,000, and it will be used to serve all of southeastern Idaho.
