2 arrested in January fight
Two Idaho Falls men were arrested on warrants Thursday on charges of aggravated battery after allegedly attacking a man at the Peppertree Lounge in January.
Police said Amando Ruiz, 23, and Edgar G. Barrientos-Ruiz, 24, assaulted a 36-year-old man “with fists, feet and beer bottles” Jan. 24.
The victim was taken by taxi to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries. He reported the incident to police while he was at EIRMC.
