Local high school team heads to nationals
The small-business management team at Madison High School will be representing the Gem State in a national competition in Indianapolis. Four students make up the team. On Thursday, the team placed first in the state competition in Boise. They were able to beat competitors by having the best mock-up of a small business and being able to fix its potential problems.
“I had no idea we were going to make it. We were just down there trying to have fun and we were doing our thing. They called us on stage and said we were going to Indianapolis. We are pretty excited,” said Isaac Snarr.
They will be heading to nationals in April and will be competing against 100 teams.
