Arrest made in crash that killed Fort Hall man

Idaho State Police made an arrest in a deadly crash that occurred in October.

Jody Underwood, 39, of Blackfoot, was arrested on a felony warrant for vehicular manslaughter on Wednesday.

ISP said Underwood was driving recklessly in the Fort Hall area and collided with the car of Richard “Tazzy” Peyope of Fort Hall on U.S. Highway 91.

Peyope was pronounced dead at the crash.

Underwood was taken from the crash by helicopter in critical condition.
