Governor hopeful: Idaho needs a plan
One gubernatorial candidate says Idaho doesn’t have a plan.
Russ Fulcher, who is running against fellow Republican Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter, was in Idaho Falls on Thursday evening.
He said his vision for the state is what separates him from Otter.
“I have a private alternative to the Obamacare exchange,” he said. “I have a private alternative to the Common Core standards. And I have a plan to put some prosperity into the state of Idaho.”
Fulcher said Idaho doesn’t have a plan for prosperity and that it tends to react to whatever comes out of Washington.
He said the federal government is broken, and its financial crisis is our financial crisis.
Fulcher spent the last 10 years in the Idaho Senate. He grew up on a dairy farm and has worked for Micron.
