Two killed in accident near Salmon
Two people died and two others were injured after being ejected from a Toyota Tundra when the driver failed to negotiate a curve 15 miles south of Salmon.
Idaho State Police say the crash occurred about 8:30 p.m. Saturday when the vehicle went off the west side of State Highway 28 and overturned. None of the occupants were wearing seatbelts.
Police say 52-year-old Rosalva Campos of Firth died at the scene.
Fifty-one-year-old Antonio Campos of Iona was transported to a hospital in Missoula, Montana, where he died.
Police say 40-year-old Gary Monson of Parker was taken to Steele Memorial Medical Center in Salmon. The hospital wouldn’t release information Sunday.
Thirty-nine-year-old Lisa Monson was taken by air ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. She was listed in fair condition Sunday.
